Waiting list when a time slot is sold out

When there's no inventory available for a time slot, allow the customer to sign up to be notified of new availability. Some questions: Is it helpful to have this for any timeslot or only if every time slot is sold out? e.g. If Monday at 9 am is sold out, should there be a "sign up to informed of availability" Is it helpful to have this only if every timeslot is sold out? e.g. "There is no current availability. Please provide your email to be notified of new availability". Should the emails just go into an exportable list to be manually emailed from the merchant's choice of email tool? e.g. Gmail or Mailchimp. Should the waiting list be automatically mailed as soon as there's inventory for any time slot? Any other thoughts world? Idea: Notify in the order in which they arrive on the waitlist with a 15-minute (or admin-set) delay or the choice to release to all waitlist members at the same time.

Google/Microsoft Calendar integration

Allow a merchant to authenticate their Google or Microsoft Calendar so new bookings are posted to their personal or company calendars. If a change is made in the schedule(s) at Experiences, it should dynamically update on the Google/Microsoft calendars where subscribed to the Experiences calendar for the merchant. Stretch goal: When a user has connected their calendar to an experience, do not allow any sales in the experiences app (from their Shopify storefront) when the user's calendar already has something in that time slot. For example, if the experience is set up to allow bookings from 9 am to 12 pm, but 11 am is blocked with another appt in the user's Google calendar, don't show any time slot availability on the Shopify storefront in the Experiences app for that blocked time.

Allow vendors/employees/third-parties to manage their own experience schedules manually

This feature would allow third-parties who aren't store staff to log in to a website and manage their availability (and perhaps experience details such as the info and price) without being able to log into the store or see other experiences. Basic functionality might be: - create/manage business profiles - create/manage experiences with descriptions, pricing, inventory, dates available - manage reservations including cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds

As a merchant, I want to allow my pre-paid/reservation customers to transfer themselves to different days/times and across different experiences

As a merchant, it can be time-consuming to handle myriad requests from customers who want to reschedule their attendance from their currently booked day/time slot. This feature would allow merchant customers to self-service their rebooking requirements for pre-paid and reservation booking types, as permitted by the merchant, and keep the money in the store. Here are some initial requirements: As a customer: - I want a new day/time for one/all of us within the same experience - I want a new day/time for one/all of us to a different experience As a merchant: - I want to allow customers to self-service their transfer booking requirements - I want the option to keep the money paid within my store/business so the customer can use it to credit their future booked experience with me. - I want to be able to charge a rebooking fee by deducting a certain amount from the credit they are given in the form of a gift card. Potential features: - Customer self-service portal accessed from a link in the Experiences confirmation email - Merchant can choose to charge a rebooking fee and deduct it from a gift card amount. The customer would then need to make up the difference when they used the gift card for another experience - Merchant can choose to enable/disable this feature - Merchant can choose basic limits if this feature is enabled such as "don't allow transfers within X days/hours of scheduled time" etc.

As a merchant, I want to have different variant prices for my experience but want to have maximum quantity available per variant.

This feature would be helpful in a situation where a merchant has variants but wants a maximum inventory available per variant. This could include limiting bookings at a premium or reduced rate based on the services provided (e.g. Lunch included vs not and/or VIP experience vs standard admission). In the admin of the Experiences app, the merchant would be able to not only set a maximum amount of any type of bookings per time slot, but they'd also be able to set a limit on the maximum amount of bookings per price variant.

Automated Follow up emails for customer reviews and feed back.

Merchants would like to send out follow up emails at some specified time after the experience has taken place so that their attendees can give feed back and leave Google/FB reviews.

Allow for a central resource of hosts, instructors, and other resources that can be managed in one place and then assigned to experiences

We think creating a resource management pool to assign to experiences and time slots will be more powerful than our current hosts feature, which is just a text field and image. This means that a host, guide, instructor, room, boat...really anything can belong to any given experience and booking. Additionally, we plan to make those resources shareable (and finite, so they can run out) across more than one experience. For example, if Susan is an instructor and can be available to lead experiences A, B, or C, but she gets booked for experience A at 9am - 12pm, she won't be available for that same time for experiences B and C. Also, if it's another type of resource, such as a canoe or room, once that finite resource pool is assigned to an experience + time slot combo, it can't be assigned elsewhere until it's free again.

Ability to set price breaks based on purchase quantity

As a merchant, I want to add a minimum or maximum purchase requirement on a per variant basis. Experiences already has min/max booking rules but they apply to all variants in an experience. This feature would allow merchants to do this on a variant-by-variant basis. Use Case 1: As a merchant, I set different prices based on the quantity a particular customer books. For example, I charge $65 if one person books but I charge $55 if they buy at least two bookings. My variants might be "Single Attendee = $65" and "2-5 Attendees = $55" where the second variant requires at least two bookings but no more than five. This feature is not the same as but complimentary to https://feedback.experiencesapp.com/feature-requests/p/as-a-merchant-i-want-to-have-different-variant-prices-for-my-experience-but-want

Allow merchants to turn off auto fulfill for Experiences orders on a product-by-product basis.

Sometimes a merchant would rather not auto fulfill the Experiences orders. This may be because of shipping or other business flow reasons.

Allow a customer to buy an experience without a day or time attached as a gift for someone else

This would allow a merchant to sell experiences as gifts to be redeemed by anyone their customer wants to gift it to at a time/day that would work for the recipient. Here's a potential user experience flow for the customer and the merchant: - Buyer navigates to a particular experience - Buyer chooses "buy as a gift" - Buyer chooses the quantity (for x people) of the gift - Buyer provides the email of the recipient, adds a message, and hits send - The Experiences app sends a transactional email to the recipient. "Yay, you've received a free [experience name]. Click here to redeem it. It expires in X days/months/years on X date. (Other fine print?)" - Recipient clicks on the CTA in the gift email and lands on the experience page - Recipient sees a link that says, "redeem a gift" or "Have a redemption code?" - Recipient clicks on that link, which expands to show an input field, and enters the code. - Recipient sees some sort of message that lets them know they have the ability to book this experience for free because of the gift. e.g. "Your gift allows you to book X people for free. Please choose a date and time from the availability now" - Recipient chooses a day/time and then checks out. - Recipient receives confirmation messages and is now in the Experiences system. Of course, additional stuff can be built but the above is essentially an MVP. - Buyer could be notified of gift redemption "Your gift has been redeemed!" - Merchant could customize the email gift message - Recipient could choose to redeem all/some of their gift at once (what if they get more than one booking in their gift?)

Past Experiences

Once an experience has passed, we would like to be able to file it away so we have the ability to only see upcoming experiences but can also have a record of those experiences and the people who have attended them. We are worried that deleting old experiences means we lose all records associated with it.

As a merchant I would love the ability to mark an experience as "Cancelled" or "Closed"

Currently an experiences is only able to exist as "Active", or "Draft". We'd love a way to mark experiences as "Closed" or "Cancelled" so that they can still be accessible but not cause extra noise in the dashboard.

Safari booking calendar loads in December 1969 first time it is opened after page load

When you click "Book" on an experiences product in Safari, calendar loads as December 1969 first time it's opened after page load. Closing the calendar and reopening shows correct time frame until page is refreshed. Confusing a lot of my customer, can this be resolved please?
