The Experiences app allows merchants to set a "minimum schedule notice" that keeps customers from booking too close to the experience date.
Currently, it is possible for someone to book within the minimum booking window if they do the following:
1. The customer adds a future booking to the /cart that complies with your minimum scheduling notice rule (e.g. The rule says, "no bookings within three days before the experience" so they can book four days ahead of time successfully).
2. The customer does not complete the order and the booked inventory sits in the /cart step but never goes to the final checkout step. They come back to their /cart inside of the minimum scheduling notice rule (e.g. You have a rule that doesn't allow bookings within three days but they come back to the cart within one day of the experience) and complete the booking successfully.
A feature enhancement would prevent customers from checking out successfully if they came back to their abandoned cart too late.
