Curious about editing an order in Shopify

Hi there, If we edit an order for an experience through Shopify Admin (i.e. to add an additional customer to an experience and collect their cc info), why doesn't the number of people on that ticket change to 2 from one in Experiences? Are we making changes properly (collecting extra $$ for additional customers after an experience is booked)? Please advise. Thank you, Alicia
